Two decades in football. From grassroots academy coaching to leading England's amputee team to their first major title.
I am passionate about disability sport, coaching excellence, and inspiring the next generation. Whether on the pitch or on stage, my mission is to prove that limitations are only perceptions — and that every individual has the potential to achieve greatness.
British Empire Medal (BEM) Recipient 2026 | Former Head Coach — England Amputee National Team | Based in Blackpool, Lancashire
My journey in football spans over two decades, beginning in grassroots academy coaching and culminating in leading the England Amputee National Team to their first-ever major title on the international stage. Every step has been driven by a belief that sport has the power to transform lives.
In 2026, I was deeply honoured to receive the British Empire Medal (BEM) in the King's Birthday Honours for services to disability sport — a recognition not just of my work, but of the incredible athletes, staff, and community who have supported this journey.
Based in Blackpool, Lancashire, I now focus on sharing my story through keynote speaking, mentoring young athletes and coaches, and advocating for inclusive sport at every level. My mission is simple: to show that disability is not a barrier, but a different path to the same destination.
"Disability is not a barrier — it is a different path to the same destination. My role is to show others that path, and to prove that with belief, resilience, and the right support, every individual can achieve greatness."
